Peep Toe founder Nikki Hager has been nominated for Entrepreneur of the year in Cosmopolitan Fun, Fearless, Female Awards.

 

It was the frustration of finding the perfect high heel that launched the fashion phenomenon of Peep Toe Shoes four years ago. Founder Nikki Hager, 30, says: “I knew if I couldn’t find footwear for myself there would definitely be a market for other young women too,” she says.

The label started with six designs that became “an instant hit” with boutiques. Nikki then opened a flagship boutique in Sydney’s Paddington. “Having worked alone for the first year, I now have a team of 45 staff behind me, three stand-alone stores and over 150 stockists Australia-wide,” she says. “It’s the most thrilling experience to work so closely with a fabulous team and build great relationships with people who contribute to the company.”
