To celebrate the launch of Myer’s new lower level, the store welcomed Myer ambassador Jennifer Hawkins. Jen met hundreds of local fans over 4 hours. Check out the new-look Myer at Castle Towers, including new season Spring Summer fashion.

This up and coming boy band has been described as the hottest teen group since the Beatles! Castle Towers hosted an exclusive in-store appearance back in July attracting hundreds of screaming teens. Short Stack’s MySpace plays have reached over 4 million hits.

Sanity at Castle Towers recently welcomed Guy Sebastian for an intimate appearance in-store. Guy signed copies of his newly released single “Like It Like That” followed by an acoustic performance on the Sanity counter!

Peter Alexander visited the Towers store early July to mingle with customers and promote his new Winter range. His appearance was well received with free giveaways and yummy cupcakes.

Mark Vincent, the 15 year old winner of Channel Seven’s, Australia’s Got Talent performed live @ the Towers on August 22 2009. He has had remarkable success with his debut album, My Dream - My Visione; achieving platinum sales within a month of being released.

The all new Hi 5 performed at Castle Towers on Wednesday 14 October 2009. Casey, Fely, Lauren, Stevie & Tim attracted crowds in the thousands at Centre Stage for an extra special performance for Castle Towers shoppers!

Matthew Reilly, international bestselling author, visited Castle Towers on Tuesday 20 October 2009 to meet his fans. Castle Towers shoppers took home their very own signed copy of his latest novel, The Five Greatest Warriors.
Of The Five Greatest Warriors, Matthew says, 'I wanted to write a novel that was simply super-gigantic; bigger and faster than anything I've written before and I humbly think I've succeeded in that aim!'

The search for an Australian Supermodel was held at Castle Towers on 24 & 25 October. Two of the world's strongest and longest-established model agencies, Vivien's Model Management and FORD Management New York, joined forces to conduct a global search for the most beautiful girls across the globe. Industry professionals evaluated all entrants for potential representation with Australia's premier model agency Vivien's Model Management. Congratulations to winner Natalie Meeuwissen!

Ray Martin visited Castle Towers on Saturday 7 November to open the Kmart Wishing Tree, as well as meet and greet with fans and sign copies of his autobiography "Ray: Stories of My Life".
Ray Martin is one of the most recognised faces on Australian Television, best known for his various on-air roles with Channel Nine from 1978 to 2008.

Shoppers at Castle Towers joined Luke and Wyatt from Nickelodeon's The GO Show! at Centre Stage on Monday 16 November, for the 'iCarly Wacky Talent Show' featuring special guest, Miranda Cosgrove -- the star of iCarly! Fans also took home their very own postcard personally signed by Miranda herself!

Sam Clark from Neighbours made an appearance at Sanity @ the Towers on Thursday 3 December to celebrate the release of his debut single ‘Broken’. Since joining Neighbours in 2006 as ‘Ringo Brown’ Sam Clark has become one of the most loved and recognizable characters on the long-running show. But whilst acting is very important to him, Sam’s first love is music, and on November 13 Sam will release his debut single ‘Broken’.

Matt Preston visited Castle Towers on Saturday 19 December, to promote the release of his CD compilation, Matt Preston Presents Music From Another Platter.

Nova 969’s new breakfast team - Merrick, Dools & Ricki-Lee broadcast live from 6 - 9am on Friday 22 January 2010 in The Piazza at Castle Towers, where they revealed The Chosen One & winner of USD$20,000. The day included special guests, a free hot brekky cooked to perfection & thousands of dollars in prizes. On Thursday 21 January 5 contestants were put into a glass room for 24 hours & they had one goal - to unanimously decide who out of the 5 of them would walk out with

As part of the Hills Sports Registration Day held on Saturday 6 February, Parramatta Eels players Feleti Mateo and Krisnan Inu answered their fans' questions and signed autographs. Even Towers Ted got their autograph!

The HSBC Waratahs and Tah Man visited Rebel Sport @ the Towers on Thursday 22 April! Benn Robinson, Tom Carter and Locky McCaffrey from the HSBC Waratahs appeared with Tah Man to meet their fans.

Alex Perry made a special appearance at the Castle Towers Formal Fever Expo on Sunday 11 July 2010. Alex presented his latest collection due to hit the racks at Designer Forum from August 2010.

Popular band Amy Meredith visited Sanity at Castle Towers in July to promote their new album. They met with fans and performed an acoustic set - what a treat!

Rex Lee, who plays Lloyd, Ari's long suffering assistant on the hit HBO comedy series Entourage® visited the Towers on 22 July 2010! Rex signed autographs for fans while he promoted the launch of Entourage®: The Complete Sixth Season on Blu-ray and DVD in Australia.

Australia's first MasterChef, Julie Goodwin, visited the Towers in April to meet and greet with fans and sign copies of her long awaited cookbook My Family Table.

Dorothy the Dinosaur and Captain Feathersword from the Wiggles visited Castle Towers in June 2010, as ambassadors for Sids and Kids Red Nose Day. Towers Ted, and Event Boy and Girl also joined in the action!

Castle Towers is a proud sponsor of the Orange Blossom Festival which took place between Friday 11 September and Monday 28 September 2009. Castle Towers hosted the community launch on Saturday 12 September, which included entertainment from Dora the Explorer, Ronald McDonald, Towers Ted, The Jitterbugs, Sister2Sister, and much more!

Castle Towers hosted the annual Do It With Denim parade, in conjunction with Jeans for Genes, on Saturday 1 August 2009. The event showcased eclectic denim designs created by students along with country singer Dianne Corcoran also appearing. The parade attracted much needed awareness of the campaign along with many donations. Thank you customers for your ongoing support.

Enjoy a social few laps around the centre followed by a coffee catch-up (not to mention lots of window shopping!). Beginners through to advance walkers are welcome.

Westmead Breast Cancer Institute (BCI) in community partnership with Myer at Castle Towers is launching a new BCI Sunflower Clinic aimed to provide additional resources in the early detection and prevention of breast cancer in Australian women. The BCI Sunflower clinic provides women aged 50-69 with a FREE Breast screen mammogram. With many women in full-time employment, or busy with family commitments, the ability to have a mammogram appointment during late night or weekend trading hours at Myer, will provide greater convenience for regular testing in a comfortable, convenient and easily accessible location. Located in the lingerie department, the BCI Sunflower Clinic is fitted with the latest digital screening equipment to shorten examination time, improve reporting times and increase image quality.

Voice of McDonald’s is the worldwide singing contest for McDonald's talented crew and managers. This is the 3rd consecutive year that McDonald's have run this competition. However, this year, we have some exiting news. Emma Linnegar is the Australian entry and was recently advised that she has been chosen as a Semi Finalist in the competition. From more than 10,000 entries, Emma is now one of the top 30 contestants in the world! Emma Linnegar is a true local. She has been working at McDonald’s Castle Towers for a year as a crew person. Emma is 19 years old and lives in Epping. This is the perfect opportunity to support a star in our midst. We need family, friends, customers and the community as a whole to rally for Emma! To support this rising star, there will be opportunities to vote online as well as access details of Emma’s journey on dedicated Voice of McDonald’s pages on Facebook Twitter and other social networking sites.

14 year old Jason Francis will be walking 200km, from Bathurst to Castle Hill, from 9 to 15 May 2010, in support of the Cancer Council. Jason's support team includes his Mum Sharon, his Mum's friend Ingrid Helff, and 12 year old brother Brad. They plan to cover the 200km over 7 days at an average of 28km per day.
The team is looking for much needed sponsorship to raise money for cancer research in the hope of getting one step closer to a cure! Click here for more.

On Tuesday 23 November Castle Towers held an Excellence in Retail Awards event to recognise and reward its 310+ retailers for their dedication and commitment throughout the year 2009.
With over 310 retailers in attendance, 14 retailers were acknowledged for exceptional efforts ranging from customer service through to marketing, business acumen, community participation and business growth.

The 28th All American Car Show was held at Castle Towers on Sunday 17 January 2010 in association with the Mustang Owners Club of Australia (NSW). More than 550 Mustangs, Corvetts, Pontiacs, hot rods and American muscle cars filled the Blue Rooftop carpark.
Local up and coming rock band The Perfect Revolution along with Northholm Grammar's rock band Collide took the stage to entertain the thousands of people that turned up to see the incredible and colourful display of cars.
All monies raised from the event was donated to the Children's Hospital at Westmead.

Hear the Children Early Intervention Centre, provides life-changing therapy, free-of-charge, to babies and children with hearing impairment. 9 out of 10 of the children that attend the Centre go on to attend mainstream schools alongside their hearing peers. A special Girls Night Out fundraising screening of Sex and the City 2 is being held at Event Cinemas at Castle Towers on Wednesday 9th June at 7pm. Tickets are already selling well so don't miss out!
