Castle Towers is now offering public charging bays for electric cars within the Centre’s car park, through the installation of a Tesla Destination Charging program, providing a convenient and easily accessible location to recharge sustainable electric vehicles.
Castle Towers Centre Manager, Martin Ollis, said the electric car charging bays are available to any member of the public who wishes to use them.“We’ve seen a significant rise recently in the number of electric cars visiting Castle Towers, and we’re happy to support this growing movement toward a more sustainable mode of powering cars.
“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to provide a central location for electric car drivers to recharge their vehicles while on the go in the Castle Hill area.”The three charging bays are powered by user-friendly High Power Wall Connectors provided and installed by Tesla Motors, and are located in Castle Towers red car park (row 7, space B1) with best access via entry from Eric Felton St.
The Tesla Destination Charging program provides High Power Wall Connectors at key destinations for owners to conveniently charge whilst away from home for long periods. High Power Wall Connectors commonly provide 32 amperage of power and are also delivered with Tesla’s Model S vehicles at time of purchase for home installation, making the device familiar to Tesla owners, and long distance travel hassle free.
