All aboard: Castle Towers on track to welcome big changes

With the game-changing new Sydney Metro Northwest station now open to Castle Hill passengers, Castle Towers is getting set to welcome a host of major new additions – with our seamless new Metro station link just the beginning.

As you’ve likely noticed, the long-awaited transformation of Castle Towers is in full swing, with stage one of our multi-stage development now underway after builders broke ground in March.

This first chapter of our new development will deliver a range of new additions to the centre, most notable of which will be the seamless pedestrian link to the new Castle Hill Station and a contemporary marketplace that will usher in a new generation of fresh food shopping and casual dining for Hills locals.

Directly connecting Castle Towers to the concourse of the new station, our secure new underpass will provide locals with a new level of connectivity and convenience. Whether you’re keen to grab a snack before catching the train, or ticking items off your to-do list while on the go, our new pedestrian link is all about making life easy for those flowing in and out of the metro station.

Meanwhile, an all-new indoor marketplace and new-era food court have been designed to bring seasonal produce and inspired dining to our community.

A marketplace made for you

Opening late 2019, our new fresh food marketplace is designed to bring you the best in fresh produce, fine meats and seafood, tasty baked goods and specialty foods from across our region and beyond.

Here, you’ll be invited to explore a new world of cheeses and deli delights; savour everything from European pastries to handmade dumplings; sip your daily brew from a squad of skilled baristas and discover a range of new ready-to-eat market fare.

Featuring an inspired range of fresh food retailers, specialty grocers, cafes and more, the marketplace will extend from the new Metro station pedestrian underpass through to Coles on Level 1, which will also welcome a significant refresh as part of the development.

A new hub for local flavour

The direct and secure link to the new station will also unite with a bustling new food court and meeting place.

Providing a new hub for local flavour, our reimagined food court has been designed as a welcoming space to eat, meet, work and unwind. With a relaxed, living room feel and an abundance of live plants, the space will be home to a range of options to help you catch up with friends, refuel on the run, find your perfect coffee or take time out from the daily rush.

Here, we’re doing away with old-style seating in favour of a mix of booths, sit-at bars and cosy seating options, while greenery hubs will feature multiple power ports to help you stay connected at all times.

Adding to the convenience, we’re also bringing a range of everyday services –including a bank, drycleaner and barber – to the precinct to help you make the most of every day.

As part of the ongoing evolution of Castle Towers’ premium shopping experience, we’ll also be welcoming a collection of new fashion, family and lifestyle brands to Levels 2 and 3 in coming months.
